A five minute stroll from the Clan Lakeside Lodge takes you into the heart of Terrigal. You can walk via a sealed footpath or along the beach if you don’t mind sand in your toes and a splash in the waves on the way. Either way the Clan Lakeside Lodge is perfectly positioned to let you enjoy all that Terrigal offers whilst providing a relaxing retreat when you need to wind down.

The Clan Lakeside Lodge History

Terrigal has been a favorite Australian holiday destination for nearly 100 years.

The natural beauty of the protected north facing beach framed by rugged headlands combined with a backdrop of steep wooded hills encircling the town sets an especially enchanting environment for this cosmopolitan resort town. Set just 5 minutes stroll from the town centre, the Clan Lakeside Lodge is located on a unique waterfront site right on the beach and Terrigal Lake.

Originally the grounds were a beach side campground, later a guest house and finally, in 1967 the Clan Lakeside Lodge was developed. The original lodge was built by a local family of Scottish descent hence the traditional "Clan" title which has stayed with the property in one form or another since it’s inception.

The distinctive Tudor facade, reflecting the "old country" heritage of the original owners has been retained and enhanced with cottage gardens and waterfront lawns.  At night, discreet floodlighting enhances this landmark property and it’s waterfront environs.

The property has been extensively extended and modified over recent years and today all guest rooms are fully equipped to a four star standard throughout.

A purpose built conference centre with state of the art facilities was added several years ago, and the property is now a leading provider of corporate and group travel needs.
